We are hiring Structural Analysis / Stress Engineers to support a leading Tier 1 commercial aerospace manufacturing organization, specializing in aerostructures for major commercial aircraft programs.
Location: Wichita, KS Contract: 6 months (strong potential for extension)
Pay
· 2–4 years: $60/hour + per diem (for eligible candidates)
· 5–10 years: $70/hour + per diem (for eligible candidates)

About the Opportunity
We are seeking Structural Analysis / Stress Engineers to join a highly collaborative commercial aerospace environment in Wichita, KS. These roles support the analysis, development, and validation of primary and secondary aircraft structures to ensure performance, safety, and regulatory compliance on large commercial aircraft programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for engineers seeking hands-on exposure to high-rate production programs, advanced structural analysis, and close collaboration with design, manufacturing, and certification teams within a Tier 1 aerostructures environment.

Role 1: Structural Analysis / Stress Engineer (2–4 Years)
Responsibilities
· Apply structural analysis principles to assess structural adequacy and compliance.
· Perform analyses including
o Finite Element Modeling (FEM)
o Static and fatigue analysis
o Damage tolerance analysis
o Thermal and vibration analysis
o Structural testing support
· Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and post-delivery support teams.
· Support compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
· 2–4 years of experience in structural analysis or stress engineering.
· Working knowledge of aerospace materials and structural behavior.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
· Exposure to commercial aerospace structures is highly desirable.

Role 2: Structural Analysis / Stress Engineer (5–10 Years)
Responsibilities
· Lead and perform advanced structural and stress analyses for flight vehicle structures.
· Develop, integrate, document, and evaluate aircraft structural designs for:
o Performance and functional adequacy
o Cost effectiveness and manufacturability
o Regulatory and customer compliance
· Contribute across primary and secondary structures, payloads, weights, and lofting.
· Work closely with design, manufacturing, and certification teams.
Requirements
· 5–10 years of experience in aerospace structural analysis and design.
· Strong background in metallic structures.
· Proficiency with CATIA and Boeing design processes.
· ENOVIA experience.
· Recent experience (within the last 10 years) on commercial aerospace programs within a Tier 1 aerostructures or OEM environment.
· Primary structures experience is essential.
· Exposure to aero structures, product development, and new design is highly valued.
· Commercial OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience preferred.
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
· Engineering degree strongly preferred over drafter/technician backgrounds.
