Senior Marketing & Communications Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and hands-on execution for Integrated Marketing and Communications initiatives that advance KCSL’s mission and brand awareness among key audiences
• Lead campaign planning, content development and creative execution across digital and print channels
• Plan, develop and execute Integrated Marketing and Communications campaigns
• Design and produce high-quality print and digital materials aligned with KCSL brand standards
• Collaborate with internal staff to develop messaging and creative assets that support services and prevention initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Graphic Design or related field
• Minimum 4 years of related work experience in Marketing ,Advertising, Public Relations and/or Graphic Design
• Demonstrated experience leading Marketing or Communications projects with autonomy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient in AP style
• Advanced skills in design, content creation, campaign planning and digital communications
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite(CC)
• Working knowledge in Microsoft 365, Teams, Share Point and OneDrive

Preferred

• Experience with a non-profit, social services, public health or child abuse prevention environment
• Experience supporting fundraising or donor communications
• Basic knowledge of HTML or web editing
• Experience providing guidance or mentorship to junior staff or interns
