EVCO Wholesale Food Corp. has an opportunity for an Outside Sales/Marketing Advisor in the Wichita, KS area. EVCO is a wholesale food distributor, providing high-quality, competitively priced products to a broad customer base consisting of restaurants, schools and healthcare facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a salaried, working toward full commission, outside sales position responsible for obtaining and maintaining accounts in a given territory.

GENERAL DUTIES

• Prospect for new accounts and service current accounts.
• Work with District Sales Manager to review periodic territory accomplishments against sales goals, dollar gross profit goals and new account production.
• Promote new products through sampling and demonstration.
• Collection of accounts receivable in line with company credit policy.
• Effectively use Company special sheets, flyers, samples and promotions.
• Regularly prepare and update a target account list.
• Attend district sales meetings as established by DSM and monthly sales meetings in Emporia, KS.
• Cooperate and communicate with other departments and management staff.
• Any other duties assigned by the District Sales Manager

REQUIREMENTS: Successful applicant will have prior marketing and sales experience and/or a background in wholesale food distribution. A drive to succeed and strong work ethic is essential. Applicant must be highly motivated and goal oriented along with being detail oriented and well organized. Excellent communication & presentation skills are required. Applicants must be able to work in all kinds of Kansas weather, sit/stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50lbs. Occasional hours outside 8-5 will be necessary in order to accommodate schedule of some customers. Marketing Advisors must be willing to relocate, if necessary to the territory they are servicing.
