As a TruGreen Field Sales Representative, you will be the friendly face in the neighborhood, engaging with homeowners directly to showcase the advantages of our personalized lawn care solutions. What You'll Do - You will represent TruGreen by connecting with homeowners face-to-face to assess their needs and offer custom lawn care solutions that foster trust and satisfaction. Each day presents a new opportunity to connect, educate, and earn their business.

  • Engage with new and existing customers through door-to-door outreach with a professional and energetic approach.
  • Customize your sales messaging to cater to the unique lawn care needs of each household, recognizing that no two lawns (or customers) are the same.
  • Utilize proven sales methodologies to convert potential leads into signed customers.
  • Document interactions and monitor performance using a CRM system to ensure follow-through and accountability.
  • Cross-sell and upsell effectively by demonstrating how our services can enhance their lawns.

What You'll Bring - A passion for success and strong people skills are essential; you don't need to have previous lawn care experience.

  • A high school diploma or GED is required (having excellent people skills is highly valued).
  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus, but your enthusiasm and drive will take you further.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as reliability is key.
  • Effective communication skills to engage in both casual and professional discussions.
  • Strong time management and a self-motivated attitude; you thrive when given autonomy.
  • Comfort with technology and mobile devices is important for tracking your progress.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds while working outdoors.

This range is based on qualifications for the position including experience and training. Offers may consider a candidate's skills, experience, and location. Most candidates begin in the lower half of the range.
