About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Design Lead – Aero Structures with strong CATIA V5 expertise and hands-on experience with the Bombardier Challenger program. The role will lead aero-structure retrofit and modification projects while providing technical guidance to engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead aero-structure design, retrofit, modification, and release activities.
• Support PDR and CDR reviews.
• Perform aircraft configuration assessments using engineering databases and drawings.
• Develop and review 3D models, 2D drawings, and KIT drawings using CATIA V5.
• Ensure compliance with customer, program, and certification requirements.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to engineering teams.
• Support designs involving landing gear, belly fairings, flap structures, and anti-abrasion systems.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering.
• 12+ years of aero-structures experience.
• 4+ years of Bombardier Challenger program experience.
• Strong CATIA V5 experience.
• Hands-on PLM experience for configuration management and part-data retrieval.
• Knowledge of BAMS, BAPS, and Challenger program specifications.
• Experience with aero-structure retrofit, modification, and certification.
• Experience developing and releasing KIT drawings.
• Knowledge of:
• Aluminum machining and sheet metal forming
• Kevlar manufacturing and applications
• Anti-abrasion coating systems
• Nose Landing Gear (NLG) and NLG well structures
• Main Landing Gear (MLG), belly fairing, and flap structures
