Steam Clean & Restoration – Wichita, KS

Steam Clean & Restoration has been serving the Wichita area since 1968, and we are looking for a motivated salesperson to help us grow our commercial business.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is competitive, outgoing and willing to work. You do not need years of sales experience. We are more interested in finding someone who is comfortable talking to people, willing to walk into businesses, can follow up consistently and wants the opportunity to earn more based on results.

Our services include carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning, upholstery cleaning and other specialty cleaning services. Our current clients include businesses, schools, churches, property managers, industrial facilities and other organizations throughout the Wichita area.

Compensation

We understand that building a commercial book of business takes time, so we provide guaranteed earnings for your first six months while you build your customer base.

• $200/week base pay

• First 13 weeks: Minimum $500/week commission guarantee, for minimum total earnings of $700/week

• Weeks 14–26: Minimum $400/week commission guarantee, for minimum total earnings of $600/week

• If your earned commissions are higher than the guarantee, you receive the higher amount

• After six months: $200/week base pay plus earned commissions

• 20% commission on sales to entirely new customers

• 10% commission on sales to existing customers

• No cap on commissions

The right person can build a strong income by developing recurring commercial accounts.

What You'll Do

• Prospect for new commercial customers by phone, email and in-person visits

• Build relationships with businesses throughout the Wichita area

• Identify opportunities for carpet cleaning, air duct cleaning and other SCR services

• Schedule walkthroughs and prepare or coordinate estimates

• Follow up consistently with prospective customers

• Reconnect with former and existing customers

• Maintain accurate records of prospects, follow-ups and sales activity

• Work with our operations team to make sure customers receive excellent service

Previous sales experience is helpful, but not required.

Experience in outside sales, route sales, restaurants, retail management, customer service, athletics, construction, restoration, property services or other customer-facing work can translate very well to this position.
