Role and Responsibilities

As a Frontline Sales Associate, you will help ensure that every member completes their shopping experience smoothly and with confidence. This role involves processing transactions, assisting with self-checkout, and keeping front-end areas organized while consistently providing friendly and reliable service.

  • Welcome members with a professional and approachable attitude and thank them for shopping.
  • Accurately scan items and complete payment transactions in a timely manner.
  • Support members using self-checkout stations and address routine issues as they arise.
  • Keep checkout lanes and surrounding front-end areas clean, orderly, and ready for members.
  • Manage several tasks at once in a busy, high-traffic retail environment.
  • Work closely with other front-end associates to achieve daily operational goals.

  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-moving environment while balancing multiple duties.
  • Strong dedication to delivering excellent member service and satisfaction.
  • Physical ability to remain standing for long periods while completing tasks accurately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a retail setting or cashier position.
  • Experience using point-of-sale systems and self-checkout equipment.
  • Collaborative approach with the ability to work well as part of a team.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly compensation ranging from $17.00 to $24.00, based on a 40-hour workweek and applicable minimum wage standards.
  • Additional hourly premiums from $0.35 to $3.00 depending on schedule, facility needs, seasonality, or assigned tasks.
