Responsibilities

Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Execute scheduled inspections, adjustments, lubrication, and testing across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, HVAC, and plumbing systems to identify wear early and maximize reliability. Experience with Boilers is a preferred.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair complex equipment failures—including motors, sensors, pumps, valves, and wiring—using schematics, meters, and standard diagnostic practices to minimize operational downtime.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to safety standards (including LOTO and confined space entry), inspect emergency equipment, and proactively report workplace hazards.
• Documentation & Asset Management: Record work orders, parts usage, and system logs accurately while keeping spare parts and tool inventories stocked.
• Facility Support: Address urgent production and building maintenance requests, including basic structural, painting, cleaning, and grounds work to keep the facility safe and orderly.
• Collaboration & Improvement: Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and contractors; communicate maintenance status clearly; recommend equipment upgrades; and mentor junior technicians.

The essential functions of this role include

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
