Key Responsibilities

• Generate Leads: Identify and engage decision-makers in aviation (MROs, fleet operators, flight schools) and commercial lighting sectors.
• Technical Consulting: Learn product specs to recommend the right aircraft parts and LED systems to clients.
• Close Deals: Prepare quotes and hit monthly sales targets.
• Manage Accounts: Build long-term relationships with existing clients to secure recurring parts and lighting orders.
• Market Research: Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and emerging technical standards in both sectors.
• Overall Support: Any additional tasks that maybe involved/cross-functioned for the company’s positive outcome.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience: 2–5 years of B2B sales experience (industrial, aerospace, electronics, or manufacturing sales preferred).
• Technical Aptitude: Ability to understand technical drawings, aviation parts catalogs, and electrical/lighting specs.
• Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and cold-calling skills.
• Tools: Familiar with CRM software.
• Education: High school diploma required.

DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile Design and Development Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between two high-growth sectors: precision small aircraft parts and energy-efficient LED lighting solutions. You will be responsible for the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and 3D modeling to prototyping, testing, and manufacturing support.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Engineering

• Mechanical Design: Create detailed 3D CAD models and 2D manufacturing drawings for small aircraft components and LED lighting enclosures.
• Electrical Integration: Design and integrate energy-efficient LED circuitry, drivers, and power management systems for both aviation and commercial applications.

· Material Selection: Select appropriate aerospace-grade metals, plastics, and optical materials optimized for weight reduction, thermal management, and durability.

Testing & Compliance

• Aviation Standards: Ensure all aircraft parts comply with strictly regulated aerospace standards (such as FAA guidelines, DO-160, or AS9100).
• Lighting Certification: Design LED systems to meet commercial safety and efficiency standards (such as UL/cUL, CE, and DLC).
• Prototyping: Build, test, and troubleshoot physical prototypes using environmental, thermal, and electrical testing equipment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Supply Chain: Work closely with vendors to source high-quality, cost-effective electronic and mechanical components.
• Manufacturing Support: Assist the production team in setting up assembly processes, creating work instructions, and troubleshooting manufacturing issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in product design, ideally within the aerospace or commercial lighting industries.

Technical Skills

• CAD Software: Proficiency in SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.
• PCB Design: Experience with electronic design software (e.g., Altium Designer, Eagle) is a strong plus.
• Thermal Management: Understanding of heat dissipation techniques for high-output LED systems.

Soft Skills

• Adaptability: Comfort working in a fast-paced, small-company environment where engineers wear multiple hats.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
