Job Description
Join our dynamic Site Design team at Olsson, where we offer multidisciplinary design services for a diverse range of projects, including mixed-use, commercial, residential, industrial, sports, and educational developments. As a Civil Engineer focused on Site Development, you will engage in project design, CAD drafting, and scheduling, while also having the opportunity to conduct field observations and contribute to technical reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute design elements for engineering projects using established techniques for small to mid-sized projects.
- Assist in plan production while receiving guidance on necessary tasks.
- Develop and utilize design and modeling software effectively.
- Support project documentation and scheduling while performing design calculations within a defined scope.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and designers on complex tasks.
- Conduct research, recommend solutions, and draft technical reports following set methodologies.
- Mentor student interns by fostering the development of fundamental technical skills.
- Gain experience in the management of project and client information within our project management system.

Your qualifications include
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certificate is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of related civil engineering design experience.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD; Civil 3D knowledge is a plus.
