Job Overview

As a Civil Engineer on our Site Design team, you will play a key role in a variety of exciting projects that include mixed-use, commercial, residential, and more. Your responsibilities will involve basic project design through CAD drafting, guiding drafters in creating designs, and preparing project schedules. You will also conduct research, write technical reports, and occasionally travel to job sites for assessments.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver small-scale design elements for engineering projects using established methods for small to mid-sized projects.
• Assist with the production of plans while following instructions for required tasks.
• Develop and apply knowledge of design and modeling software effectively.
• Help prepare project documentation and schedules, performing design calculations within a limited scope.
• Coordinate with senior engineers on advanced techniques and procedures.
• Conduct research, propose solutions, and create drafts of technical reports using standard methods.
• Mentor student interns, helping them build foundational technical skills and knowledge.
• Gain valuable experience managing project information within our project management system.

You should bring

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Engineer Intern (EI/EIT) certification
• 2+ years of relevant civil engineering design experience
• Familiarity with AutoCAD; experience with Civil 3D is a plus
