Business Account Representative (Entry-Level)

About the Role

MCL Talent Partners is hiring on behalf of a client in Wichita for a Business Account Representative.

This is a client-facing role focused on meeting with local businesses, conducting in-person consultations, and helping clients understand benefit options for their teams. The role is consultative in nature and centers on relationship-building, education, and ongoing account support.

No prior industry experience is required. Candidates with backgrounds in customer service, hospitality, retail, or other people-facing roles are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Meet in person with business owners and support staff.
• Conduct scheduled client consultations
• Explain benefit options clearly and professionally
• Build and maintain relationships within an assigned territory
• Track outreach, follow-up, and activity in CRM software
• Attend regular coaching and development meetings

Qualification

• Entry-level; no prior experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional, dependable, and coachable
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable with travel within the assigned territory and in-person client meetings
• Willing to complete the required licensing process
