Position Overview

The Sales Store Leader will embody Mattress Firm's vision and initiatives, driving sales performance through accountability and execution in multiple store locations. You'll lead sales programs, elevate KPI results, and ensure an exceptional omni-channel experience while fostering a customer-centric, engaging work environment for your team. As a dedicated coach, you will develop your team's skills, motivating them to achieve their best.

  • Team Development:
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings to understand your team’s motivations, personal and professional goals.
  • Prepare a comprehensive team “bio book” that evolves with insights gained from team interactions.
  • Schedule 30-60-90 day check-ins with new hires to discuss progress and growth opportunities.
  • Workforce Management:
  • Manage store staffing schedules and reconcile time punches with the support of the Operations team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and state regulations in all store operations.
  • Communicate professionally and represent the company brand in all interactions.
  • Manage product transfers meticulously to maintain accurate inventory documentation.
  • Sales Excellence:
  • Achieve and exceed financial targets through effective customer service and engagement.
  • Ensure the execution of product merchandising and marketing standards across the store.
  • Collaborate with marketing to implement social media strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Inventory Management:
  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock management.
  • Conduct store-level inventory processes, addressing discrepancies as needed.

Compensation

Competitive pay range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience. Additional bonuses are available for eligible leadership roles, at the company's discretion.
