Definition and Examples of Work
Digital & Analytics Support
- Track and measure performance for websites, DriveKS, KTAG, social channels, email, and SMS to support customer education and roadway communication initiatives.
- Build recurring reports and lightweight dashboards to help leadership understand digital reach, user behavior, tolling adoption trends, and campaign performance.
- Implement baseline A/B and multivariate testing; interpret results and recommend optimizations.
- Support GA4 and Google Tag Manager setup and troubleshooting to ensure accurate tracking.
- Identify insights to strengthen brand clarity and customer experience across KTA programs.
Marketing & Engagement Support
- Help coordinate and traffic marketing deliverables with agency partners, ensuring KTA, DriveKS, and KTAG messaging remains consistent and accurate.
- Assist with digital ad placements, creative reviews, and campaign monitoring.
- Support development of content across web, social, and email platforms, maintaining alignment with KTA's style, tone, and accessibility standards.
- Assist with community engagement efforts, including preparing materials, coordinating with chambers and partner organizations, and supporting onsite logistics for events, ribbon cuttings, facility tours, conferences, presentations, and outreach activities.
- Coordinate event logistics, such as scheduling, vendor communication, staffing needs, set-up and teardown details, attendee materials, and follow-up communications for both internal and external activities.
- Assist with the design, deployment, and summarization of surveys and focus groups to gather customer insights.
Project Coordination
- Maintain timelines, deliverables, and task tracking using tools such as Asana.
- Collaborate with departments across KTA — including Customer Service, Engineering, Finance, Administration, Human Resources, Technology — to ensure messaging is accurate and coordinated.
- Support senior marketing and communications staff with documentation, prep materials, meeting summaries, and project monitoring and management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actions.
- Working knowledge of GA4, digital KPIs, and basic reporting.
- Experience supporting events or logistics (e.g., workshops, community events, presentations, stakeholder meetings) as part of broader marketing or communications responsibilities.
- Experience supporting campaigns across social, web, or email platforms.
- Clear writing and editing ability; attention to detail for customer communications.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across teams.
- Ability to prepare visually engaging decks (i.e. PowerPoint) and deliver in a clear and confident manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of working respectfully across different cultures and backgrounds.
- Interest in public-sector communication, customer engagement, or transportation infrastructure.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Familiarity with SQL and HTML/CSS for light troubleshooting.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum cycles.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio)
- Experience with email marketing platforms, social schedulers, or CMS tools.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, data sciences/analytics or related area with 3-5 years of applicable experience. Additional experience may be substituted for degree.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Google Analytics 4 Certification
- Google Ads Certification
Certification, License, Registration
- Valid Kansas driver license.
