POSITION SUMMARY
Plan, design and evaluate environmental reliability and/or qualification projects in collaboration with internal and external customers to ensure that all specifications meet customer expectations and organizational requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE
- Develop semiconductor component-level Environmental Reliability and Qualification plans to ensure the proper environmental stress for customer applications.
- Design and fabricate boards, control apparatus, equipment, methods, procedures, and conditions for biasing test products.
- Develop electrical bias techniques used with board designs to actively and dynamically operate devices in an oven environment.
- Develop programs to control semiconductor devices and/or electronic components during environmental stress conditions.
- Work closely with Test Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service Teams to coordinate operational success in delivering customized test and qualification solutions that comply with Integra customers’ unique requirements.
- Work with the Sales Team to accurately cost quote environmental development hours and hardware required to meet customer-approved reliability and/or qualification plans.
- Work with the Operations Team to determine engineering feasibility and cost-effectiveness for the execution of reliability and/or qualification plans.
- Resolve technical problems using device/hardware debugging technics, and collection of data to reach engineering conclusions for driving corrective actions.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; however, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
Experience: 2-4 years of the following experience is required:
- Developing reliability and qualification solutions for preconditioning, oven, TH, HAST, and Temp Cycle chambers such as Aehr, One Box, and Espec.
- Environmental development for digital, analog or mixed signal integrated circuits.
- Read, analyze, and interpret semiconductor datasheets and specifications to estimate environmental program development time and material costs.
- Program manage individual developments from the initial stage to completion while accurately reporting status to all stakeholders.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy to ensure data integrity.
- Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, technical procedures, and operating and maintenance instructions.
- Utilize effective communication skills with internal and external customers to achieve required results.
- Effectively and efficiently utilize Microsoft Office and other computer products and programs.
