Pay: $75,000/year

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Location: Wichita, KS

About the Role

This role supports both internal sales teams and external customers by providing technical expertise in lubrication and reliability solutions. The Technical Services Engineer delivers analysis, recommendations, and reporting to improve equipment performance and customer outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and lubrication recommendations to sales teams and end users
• Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for equipment and application issues
• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and occasional technical articles
• Process and analyze lubricant samples, including used oil analysis
• Support lab reporting, documentation, and data management for testing results
• Develop and communicate technical concepts related to lubrication reliability products
• Evaluate complex technical problems and recommend effective solutions
• Collaborate with laboratories, distributors, and internal stakeholders
• Support programs with third-party lab partners
• Travel up to 25% to support customer needs and field evaluations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Technical writing and reporting experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in industrial environments and rotating equipment
• Knowledge of lubrication systems and oil analysis
• Certifications such as CLS, OMA, MLT, or MLA
• Experience with CRM systems or Zoho tools
• Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment or maintenance
• Familiarity with AI tools and technologies
