Sales Representative – Fireplace & Hearth Products - Experienced (Full-Time)

Position Overview
We’re hiring a full-time Sales Representative to join our team. This role focuses on guiding customers through the process of selecting fireplaces, stoves, and hearth products that best fit their needs, preferences, and budget. You’ll build relationships, educate customers, and deliver a customer-first sales experience while achieving individual and team-based sales goals.
What You’ll Do
- Greet and assist walk-in customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Guide customers through product options and provide clear recommendations
- Prepare and present quotes and proposals aligned with customer needs
- Follow up with prospective customers to support decision-making
- Coordinate with Scheduler and Installation Team for accurate job scheduling
- Maintain accurate records and CRM notes
- Represent the company at community events and trade shows
- Support showroom upkeep and marketing efforts
- Make customer home visits for measurements, feasibility analysis, and advising
- Work to achieve sales goals while embodying company Core Values
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in retail, in-home, or consultative sales preferred
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for helping people
- Basic math and computer skills for estimates and sales software
- Fireplace/hearth product knowledge a plus (training provided)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- 1–3+ years of sales experience; trades, building products, or home services preferred
- Proven ability to achieve or exceed sales goals
- Coachable, professional, and motivated to succeed
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM and Saturday 8 AM–12 PM (during peak season)
- Base Salary: $25,000 annually + uncapped commission
- On Target Earnings (OTE): $85,000–$115,000 annually
