Engineering Draftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Engineering Draftsman to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating drawings and aids from the part models using Mastercam. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and clarity in every blueprint.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software such as Catia and Mastercam.
• Collaborate with co-workers to interpret design concepts into precise drafting documents.
• Prepare blueprints for brake formed parts, hydro formed parts, roll formed parts, CNC router and waterjet parts, 3-axis machined parts.
• Assist in reviewing drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry codes.
• Position is Part time and there is the option to work from home after onboarding if we can work something out.

Experience

• Proven experience in drafting within an aerospace environment.
• Proficiency in Catia & Mastercam
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and drafting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret technical specifications and collaborate effectively

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
