Your Role as a Lead Electrical Engineer

  • Create designs for electric master system plans, power systems, protection and generation models, facility power systems, and renewable energy systems, guided by general direction.
  • Conduct power system studies and calculations, including lighting simulations, communications, and security systems.
  • Develop technical documentation and white papers to enhance our technical knowledge management initiatives.
  • Perform site reviews to verify that designs meet specifications and make necessary updates.
  • Contribute to our technical knowledge by preparing documents for publication in technical journals.
  • Work with the sales team to create and review proposals, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Engage with clients to understand their design needs and build lasting relationships.
  • Attend conferences and industry events to promote our services and engage with professionals.
  • Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and training to support their professional growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field.
  • Professional Engineering (PE) license required.
  • 7 years of relevant experience, with consideration given for equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Domestic and/or international travel may be required based on project needs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing power systems for various facilities including water, wastewater, and transit.
  • Proficient in designing medium and low-voltage power distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with industry codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.).
  • Experience with power system analysis software such as SKM Power Tools and ETAP.

Pay Range: $90,605 - $158,579

Additional Compensation: Discretionary bonuses may apply.

Work Location Options: Hybrid work options may be considered for the successful candidate.
