We are seeking a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team, where you will design and implement efficient workflows and operations to enhance productivity within plant and production facilities. Your role will focus on optimizing product flow and maximizing the utilization of production facilities and personnel. You may also contribute to establishing accident prevention measures and managing training programs related to production operations.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design sequences of operations and workflows to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities.
- Establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel, optimizing product flow.
- Conduct studies related to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
- Develop and implement optimized product flows based on conducted studies.
- Assist facilities engineers in planning and designing facilities.
- Provide time standards to the shop floor and standard work for operations and processes.
- Utilize analytical skills for capacity analysis, tool and equipment utilization, and line balancing.
- Perform trend analysis of shop performance measures to identify improvement opportunities.
Essential Skills
- 3 years of hands-on Industrial Engineering experience.
- ABET Accredited Engineering Degree.
- Strong communication skills, serving as a liaison between engineering and operations for the 737 production line.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace industry is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4 PM, in an engineering setting. This is a contract role that has the potential to become a direct opportunity after 12 months onsite.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $70.00/hr.
