Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer who will provide electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of new equipment and system introductions. This role requires an individual to be an internal subject matter expert in control systems, system integration, sensors, and electromechanical devices. The position involves applying knowledge of electronics, electrical circuits, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and programming.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and controls engineering expertise in support of new equipment and system introductions.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert in control systems such as Siemens PLC, HMI, and Motion Control Systems.
• Integrate systems, sensors, and electromechanical devices.
• Travel to customer sites for machine commissioning and troubleshooting support.
• Maintain logs and written records of duties performed.

Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting electrical control panels.
• PLC programming languages understanding.
• CNC troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of NC Controllers, specifically Siemens 840D or WINCC.
• Experience using precision measurement equipment such as dial indicators and calipers.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $43.00/hr.
